Dr Matthias Klauda studied physics at the University of Erlangen, where he also received his doctorate and at Cornell University, USA.
He began his professional career at Robert Bosch GmbH in 1994 in the trainee programme, after which he took up positions as project manager in the and management positions in the area of research and advance research and advance engineering in Stuttgart and Palo Alto, USA.
From 2005 to 2010, he was Chairman of the Board of Management of ETAS GmbH, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, manufacturer of software development tools and software components.
Between 2010 and 2015, he was responsible for vehicle system development and subsequently then from 2015 – 2020 for the drive control units and software business area.
Since 2021, he has been a member of the divisional board of the Cross-Domain Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division, which was founded in January of the same business areas of driver assistance, infotainment, vehicle computers and vehicle vehicle networks. He is also a member of the Executive Board of FISITA as Vice President Strategy.
