Since July 2017, Jörg Rheinländer has been a Member of the Board of Directors of HUK-COBURG Insurance Group, his areas of responsibility including motor insurance and liability/accident/property insurance. He had previously been an Authorised Representative for this area since October 2013.
From 2008 to 2015, he was head of the actuarial office for property and casualty insurance of HUK-COBURG Insurance Group.
In addition, he was head of the motor insurance administration department from 2010 to 2011.
Jörg Rheinländer joined HUK-COBURG Insurance Group in 1999 as a mathematician with the actuarial office for property and casualty insurance.
Born in Tübingen in 1969, he obtained a graduate degree in Physics at the University of Göttingen, where he subsequently completed his doctor’s degree in Mathematics. This was followed by jobs as a research associate at the Institute for Mathematical Stochastics in Göttingen and at the Institute for Theoretical Physics of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.
