Soon after joining Volvo Cars in 2012, he introduced the iconic Volvo Engine Architecture (VEA), renowned for its lightweight, efficient and modular design, which significantly reduced fuel consumption and emissions.
Michael served as Volvo’s Vice-President Powertrain, before launching Aurobay Sweden. He is a passionate believer in the role that hybrid engines and climate-neutral fuel can play in supporting the journey to net zero.
